Clean, Fresh Water - 7 Principles of Health

Water is one of the most important physical need for survival. We take water for granted and put little thought into drinking water on a regular basis. Plants die if they do not have any water; our bodies react the same way. Therefore let the water flow through your body.

Have you heard that water is a conductor of electrical current and has an affinity with air? Thereby electrifying one another and so important for our electrical bodies.

Our bodies consist of approximately 70% water and our brain consists of approximately 93% water. Our bodies need to re-hydrate and refresh every 24 hours. Our blood is made up of approximately 83% water and muscles are made up of approximately 75% water. Therefore water is the building blocks that makes up our body and requires replacing often within a 24 hour period.

What actions could you take?

  • Drink a glass of water when you wake up

  • A general rule is, drink 1 litre of water for every 22 kilograms of body weight

  • Best indicator of our water needs comes from the colour and odour of our urine. Drink 1 glass of water on the hour every hour during the day until your urine becomes clear

  • When you get signs of hunger, your body is telling you it requires water to hydrate

  • Add a ¼ teaspoon of Celtic or Himalayan salt and ¼ teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in your water. The salt helps to retain the water in the process of re-hydration. The bicarbonate soda can neutralise most acid solutions and helps your PH balance in your body

  • Increase sea salt consumption and fresh fruits and juices to avoid muscle cramps

  • Drink clean fresh water, like spring, filtered or distilled water. I bought myself a water distiller and it really works very well

  • Go on a water fast to reset your body clock or intermittent fasting to help your body process and digest the food.

I have just finished my water fasting for 10 days. This is my 2nd water fasting, my previous water fasting, happened two years ago. I appreciate food more, my head is clearer and I feel more alive. After the 10 days of water fasting, I broke my water fast with juice fast, drank juice and water for the next 11 days. Drinking juice at noon and around 5:30 pm and the rest of the time drinking distilled water. I broke my juice fast with eating 80% raw, on fruits and vegetables (whole foods) and intermittent fasting in the morning. I can say from my experience, I feel alive, healthy and grateful for this experience. We have so unique bodies, that each person’s experience is so different.

Dr Mike Mosley has written a book about the benefits of intermittent fasting.

Tyler Tolman has a program Heal Thyself Fasting and great videos explaining the benefits of fasting. Do your own research and see if this could be a way to get back on track to a healthy body, reset your body and start healing yourself.
